Christine R. Thomas, Vice President

Ms. Thomas joined NPAS in 2018 as Vice President and brings with her a wealth of experience in non-profit accounting. Prior to joining NPAS, Christine served for several years as Chief Financial Officer of Planned Parenthood of Northern, Central and Southern New Jersey, Inc. where she managed an annual operating budget of over $20 million. Additionally, she spent over ten years at Mercadien P.C., Certified Public Accountants providing audit, accounting and consulting services to a variety of non-profit organizations. Her experience includes both financial statement and compliance audits, with expertise in grant compliance for expenditures of awards from the New Jersey Department of Human Services, Department of Education and the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development. 

Christine holds an inactive CPA license in New Jersey and Pennsylvania. She graduated from The College of New Jersey with a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and was awarded the New Jersey Bloustein and TCNJ Merit Scholarships and was named an Outstanding New Jersey Scholar. Ms. Thomas resides in Levittown, Pennsylvania.
